We’re counting down the days—nay, the meals—until the return of Taste, our annual extravaganza celebrating our forthcoming Top Restaurants issue. Tickets are on sale now, and we hope you’ll join us on November 4 to sample countless bites from some of Greater Boston’s best restaurants—stalwarts and exciting newcomers alike. We’ll be back at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter in South Boston once again for a glamorous night of food, drink, and merriment. Put on your best cocktail attire, and get ready to indulge.

Here’s the deal: Every November, after a year of obsessively eating our way around the Boston area, we publish our annual Top 50 Restaurants list (catch up on last year’s list now before the new one debuts) and Top 10 New Restaurants list (last year’s here). The goal? To point you towards Greater Boston’s greatest dining-out destinations—in our highly subjective opinion—with a focus on full-service, special-occasion-y spots. To help introduce you to those spots, and refresh your memory on old favorites, we throw a giant, food-filled party. Many of the restaurants featured in the current and past issues will be on hand, serving up bite after irresistible bite, alongside live entertainment and other fun.

Speaking for those of us on the editorial side of this project, it’s a thrill to see the issue come to life each year, and we’re excited that our events team is allowing us to spill the beans today on some of the restaurant lineup. Drumroll, please! At Taste 2026, you’ll be seeing—and trying bites from—these restaurants and lots more:

  • Aatma at Widowmaker: If you were at our Best of Boston bash earlier this year, you already know this award-winner, based inside a rockin’ brewery, is making some of the best Indian food in town. The Globe’s Devra First just dropped a five-star review today, if you need further convincing.

  • Bar Vlaha and Kaia: One rustic, one swanky, these sibling spots under the Xenia Greek Hospitality umbrella are redefining modern Greek dining in Boston.

  • Dalia: Haven’t managed to snag a reservation to this gorgeous new Spanish spot in Southie? You’re in luck: The team’ll be at Taste.

  • Jahunger: No word yet on whether the Best of Boston noodles will make an appearance at Taste, but you can’t go wrong with anything this Cambridge (and Providence) restaurant serves.

  • Mahaniyom: Can we declare this multi-year Best of Boston Thai restaurant a Boston magazine event all-star? Numerous appearances at Taste and Best of Boston, numerous memorable dishes. We can’t wait to see the next one.

  • Neptune Oyster: This North End mainstay—go for the lobster roll, but also everything else—will be among the delectable seafood options at Taste this year.

Your general-admission ticket includes unlimited bites (come hungry!) and two drink tickets; VIP tickets grant you an extra drink ticket and entry an hour early so you can beat the lines at your favorite restaurants’ tables. Additional wine, beer, and cocktails will be available for purchase, and live entertainment will have you dancing the night away. We hope to see you on November 4!
